The August 18 update adds expeditions and removes the Researcher’s unlock cost.

The update adds 70 Extra Expeditions. Researcher is available from the beginning of the game; players who previously unlocked her receive a refund of the Knowledge points spent.
Researcher discount
Researcher’s discount develops faster, with the first discount available immediately.
Fixes
The update fixes High Yield icons after loading and a Wasteland claim goal in Iron Thorn.
